The tapestry L'Or de l'azur is made in jacquard weaving after the work of the artist Joan Miró.
This magnificent Miró tapestry after the 1967 painting is woven on a jacquard loom by skilled weavers, keeping alive the weaving techniques generation after generation. Jules Pansu is the only company authorized by the Successió Miró to reproduce the artist's works on cushions and tapestries. Our know-how allows us to retranscribe in detail the brushstrokes and to give relief to these reproductions thanks to the numerous effects of weaving and matter. All our tapestries are fully lined with a sleeve along the top and eyelets in order to offer several hanging alternatives: either by hooks placed in the eyelets, or by a visible rod or a wooden batten slipped into the sleeve for a cancealed hanging. On each tapestry a certificate of authenticity is affixed. This tapestry is entirely woven and made in France in our workshops in Flanders located in the North.
