At Jules Pansu, all our tapestries are lined and include a sleeve and eyelets for different types of hangings.

Start by choosing the location you like best in your room and determine how you want your tapestry hanging to look.

Before hanging your tapestry, it may be necessary to iron it to remove unsightly creases. For that, use an iron of weak to average temperature by taking care to test before on a small corner of the tapestry that that does not deteriorate it.

1. For a hanging with a decorative rod (curtain rod type)

With this type of hanging your tapestry will not be stuck to the wall but spaced of the length of your wall fixings which receive the rod.

Choose the rod, the fixings and the ends which you like as for a hanging of curtains. The rod should be of sufficient diameter to support the the tapestry and of adequate length. Make sure that the wall fixings are positioned at the edges of the tapestry so that the edges of the wall tapestry hide the hangers but leave the decorative end caps visible.

- Check the spacing between the edges of the tapestry to position your wall fixtures.

- Position the rod at the desired location and check with a level (laser or bubble) that everything is straight.

- Mark the holes to be drilled where you want the screws for your hangers.

- If you need dowels, place them in the holes previously drilled

- Attach your hangers with the appropriate screws

- Slide the rod in the rod pocket of your tapestry provided for this purpose and slide the rod in the fixings on the wall (fix everything)

- Attach the decorative end caps to the ends of the rod

2. For an invisible hanging with wooden slat

With this type of presentation your tapestry will be close to the wall and the hanging system will be hidden.

Choose a wooden slat adequate to support your wall tapestry and of a length slightly lower than the width of the tapestry so that the hangers remain hidden.

- Position the wooden slat at the desired location and check with a level (laser or bubble) that everything is straight

- Mark the holes to be drilled at the chosen location

- If you need dowels, place them in the holes previously drilled

- Screw hooks into the holes provided

- Slide the wooden slat in the rod pocket of your tapestry and hang it on the hooks on the wall
