The Bacchanal with kid and spectator tapestry is a jacquard weave based on the 1959 painting by Pablo Picasso.

The Bacchanal with kid and spectator tapestry is a jacquard weave based on the 1959 painting by Pablo Picasso.

This magnificent Picasso tapestry based on the 1959 painting "Bacchanales avec chevreau et spectateur" is woven on a jacquard loom by skilled weavers, keeping alive the weaving techniques generation after generation. Jules Pansu is the only company authorised by the Picasso Estate to reproduce the artist's works on cushions and tapestries. Our expertise and effects enable us to transcribe the brushstrokes in detail and give relief to these reproductions thanks to the many weave and material effects. All our tapestries are fully lined with a sheath and eyelets to offer several hanging alternatives: either hooks placed in the eyelets, a visible rod or a wooden slat slipped into the sheath for concealed hanging. A certificate of authenticity is affixed to each tapestry. This tapestry is entirely woven and made in France in our workshops in Flanders, in the North of France.
