Poppies tapestry after the 1873 painting by Claude Monet exhibited at the Musée d'Orsay.

Poppies tapestry after the 1873 painting by Claude Monet exhibited at the Musée d'Orsay.

Claude Monet moved to Argenteuil where he lived until 1878. These years correspond to a period of blossoming during which the artist explored the possibilities of plein air painting. His work The Poppies evokes the vibrant atmosphere of a walk through the fields on a summer day.

The Jules Pansu house has transposed this work into a wall tapestry. Made in jacquard weaving by our own workshops located in the north of France in Flanders.
