This work is one of the most famous of Japanese art. It represents a wave threatening the boats near Kanagawa. It represents the region around Mount Fuji, a mountain that can be seen in the background. This engraving is exposed to the Guimet museum in Paris. Our tapestry faithfully reproduces the original work in jacquard weaving.
