The Tapestry Seignorial Scene reveal a romantic medieval image. In a tree-lined garden, a "Grande Damoiselle" spins wool on her spindle, seated in her pulpit, while a young man reads poetry to her. The servants are busy with their duties, one embroiders and the other brings a mirror for the Damoiselle to gaze into.
